There are new collaborative features for Illustrator both on the iPad and on the desktop, with a new option for 'Share for Commenting' to let users collect comments on their Illustrator documents. Layers in Photoshop for iPad can be converted into Smart Objects for non-destructive edits, and there are new Dodge and Burn tools. This works with RAW photos from DSLRs and other cameras and RAW images captured with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13. Photoshop on iPad is gaining support for RAW images, so RAW photos can be opened and edited on the iPad as well as the desktop. Other new features include improved gradients that are designed to look clearer and brighter, Export As updates, a faster oil paint filter, improved color management and HDR, and an option to copy vector shapes from Illustrator to Photoshop.
For existing Neural Filters, Adobe is improving depth blur, superzoom, style transfer, and colorize. There's also a new option to Mask All Objects to generate a mask for all of the objects detected within a given layer.Īdobe is also adding new adjustable Neural Filters for changing the look and season of a landscape, transferring the color palette of one image to another, and matching the color and tone of an element on one layer to another layer. The tool is AI-based and is designed to recognize most objects in an image to make them easy to select.Īdobe says that selections made with the Object Selection tool are more accurate and more detail is now preserved at the edges. On the desktop, Photoshop is gaining an improved Object Selection Tool that lets users hover over the image that they want to select and then execute the selection with a click. The serial number means that I didn't have to reinstall CS3 after all to get it to run in Sierra. So does their proffering of new serial numbers, as mentioned above. Why upgrading the OS causes problems for Adobe apps I don't know, but this tool helps resolve those issues. This is a good thing for people who need to use older versions of their Adobe suite apps after upgrading the operating system. But it works as well removing files that hamper running or reinstalling, as the description says, CS3 through CS6. Interestingly, this tool is designed to remove files related to pre-release (beta) versions of Adobe software. I haven't tested High Sierra yet, so your mileage may vary. This current version only works on Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan or above. That version seems no longer to be available. I used an earlier version of this tool, version 3.10.14 to help with an installation problem with the Adobe CS3 suite.
